This traditionally hand-hammered wok made of carbon steel, with a diameter of 30cm, is perfect for preparing a wide variety of dishes for up to 3 people. If you for up to 6 people If you want to cook, we recommend the 36cm version.

Thanks to the thin forged carbon steel, the wok reacts quickly to changes in temperature and enables the well-known Cantonese cooking method “stir frying” (chǎo and bào).

The metal handle is on the opposite side of the wooden handle. This is useful when the wok is full of food and therefore heavy. The metal handle is also suitable for hanging up the wok for storage.

Already pre-seasoned

The wok is already pre-seasoned and therefore has a natural non-stick coating, which in particular enables healthy frying with less oil.

Disaster

Completely scratched after 3 uses even though only plastic was used.
Isn't it coated????

There's clearly a storage error here! Judging by the pictures, the food was in the wok for quite some time.
As a result, the wok began to rust due to moisture. In this case, the care instructions should be read beforehand.
This manual points out that the wok can rust and provides valuable tips for care.
Our woks are made of carbon steel, and in this case, it has been seasoned beforehand. This merely provides an initial patina, preventing food from burning as quickly. There is no coating. Furthermore, this is a traditionally manufactured, rustic product. Fine scratches on the wok are acceptable and do not pose a problem at all.
Unfortunately, the product was not addressed at all here.
Unfortunately, we were not contacted to possibly remedy the situation.
