Care & Safety Instructions Pans

Before first use

• Please remove all packaging material and stickers,

if available.

• Rinse your pan thoroughly with hot water and a soft sponge.

Do NOT use detergent! Dry the pan thoroughly afterwards.

• Do not leave the hot pan unattended.

• Never extinguish burning fats/oils with water. Use a blanket or a fire extinguisher instead.

• When frying food without fats/oils, it is not possible to tell whether the pan is hot.

Therefore, never touch the pan unprotected on the bare metal surface.

• At high temperatures, only use fats/oils that can be heated to high temperatures.

• Fats/oils can splash! Use a splash guard or be careful when frying!

• Reduce the temperature as soon as the fat starts to smoke to avoid overheating and flames.

• Make sure the pan is securely on the stove

• Caution! The handle can get hot! Please use heat-resistant gloves or a tea towel!

• Avoid thermal shocks, as the surface has been specially hardened and the pan may break as a result

 

 

Cleaning instructions

• To clean your pan immediately after use, simply rinse it

with hot water (DO NOT use detergent!).

If the inside is not completely clean, sprinkle some salt

and rub it with a paper towel until your pan is clean.

• IMPORTANT: After washing your pan, wipe it well with a dry cloth!

Alternatively, reheat your pan on the stove (low heat) to ensure complete drying

so that it does not rust.
